One of Our Members Needs Help

The VFW Post 379 Auxiliary is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the needs of Veterans and their families in our community. We want to thank you for taking the time to read our pleas for help. Our Veterans have sacrificed so much to protect our freedoms, and the Auxiliary honors that service by providing support for our Veterans and their families. Now, one of our very own and his family are going through a very trying time. We recently learned one of our longtime Veteran's thirteen-year-old granddaughter has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Grandmother and granddaughter have relocated to the Ronald McDonald House in Seattle to undergo the surgery and treatments necessary for her survival. Grandpa remains in Yakima caring for the four younger siblings. Her long and arduous journey has just begun, and we are asking you to help us support her and her family in this extremely difficult time. Your donation will go directly to help with medical expenses and expenses her family will incur as they attempt to maintain the family dynamics while being separated. Thank you for your generosity and for your continued support for our veterans and their families.
